Carbon Cones
Inspired by Bowers & Wilkins' award-winning 700 Series loudspeakers, Px8 uses a new and breakthrough drive unit technology: the Carbon Cone. The stiffer carbon-fibre cone reduces distortion compared to a standard headphone drive unit, resulting in lower noise on the cone and massively improved clarity. Coupled to a fully optimised drive unit motor system, with revised magnet, voice coil and surround, the result is unparalleled accuracy from a B&W headphone drive unit.
High-resolution sound with advanced DSP
Px8 uses aptX Adaptive wireless technology to automatically optimise wireless music transmission from suitable phones, tablets and computers. Coupled to powerful Bowers & Wilkins-developed DSP (Digital Signal Processing), the result is outstanding 24-bit sound quality from suitable streaming services and compatible devices. Optimized Noise Cancellation
Px8 uses proprietary Bowers & Wilkins-optimised noise cancellation technology to ensure outstanding performance with no impact on musicality. Six microphones work together to deliver the best results: two measure the output of each drive unit, two listen to ambient noise from the outside world, and two provide outstanding voice performance with enhanced noise suppression from Alango.

Use it to pair your headphones to your preferred devices, fine-tune the sound EQ to your preferences, adjust the noise cancelling transparency mode to let in more or less of the outside world and monitor your charge levels. Physical controls on each earcup ensure you’ll always be in control even if your phone isn’t readily to hand.
